Calendar and Events
Use the Calendar to give members a clear rhythm of events, live calls, and shared moments. Skool identifies events, Skool Call, and Go Live as part of this area, while the exact scheduling and replay controls should be confirmed in your current account.
What it is
- Calendar is the home for events, Skool Call, and Go Live.
- Skool presents events as part of the core community experience.
- As of July 2026, live calls come with Skool's paid plans.
- Community Classroom And Calendar connects events with discussions and learning.
- Skool Call And Webinar covers both named live formats, Skool Call for a collaborative group call and Skool Webinar for a one-to-many presentation on the Pro plan.
How to plan an event
- Decide what the member should know, do, or feel after the event.
- Choose a format that suits that outcome, such as a call, a live session, or a community event.
- Give the event a clear title and a simple next step.
- Connect course-support calls to the relevant lesson or module in Classroom Course Structure.
- Point new members to the first useful event from Member Onboarding.
- After the event, bring the useful discussion back into the community.
Best practice
- Keep recurring events predictable enough for members to build a habit.
- Use a call to help members act, not simply to add another item to the calendar.
- Tie learning sessions to a specific course outcome.
- Use onboarding calls for account readiness, rules, a first post, or a first course step.
- Review attendance and member feedback in your normal Retention And Churn work.
Pitfalls
- Do not promise a recording, replay, reminder, or external calendar sync until you have confirmed the current controls.
- Use Skool's own labels: Skool Call for a collaborative group call, and Skool Webinar for a one-to-many presentation on the Pro plan.
- Avoid adding events that compete with the course or community instead of supporting it.
- Do not connect events to Discovery Ranking Signals as a ranking trick. Focus on useful participation and retention.
